1. Branches
Branches are great to climb on and can provide entertainment for your chameleon. You can place different branches in crisscross positions to create a jungle gym for them. Branches can either be bought or be collected from outside.
Tip: Use zip ties to secure the branches together.
*If you are collecting them from outside make sure they haven’t been treated with any chemicals. Make sure to scrub/wash the wood and let it dry before putting your branches in the enclosure.

Vines mimic your chameleon’s natural habitat. They love to climb on the strong, woody vines in their tank. The foliage also provides areas for hiding when they get stressed.

3. Leafy Plants
Like vines, leafy plants create good foliage for your chameleon. Plants can look beautiful in your enclosure, add a pop of colour and also mimic a chameleons natural habitat. Live plants are always better than fake plants because live plants increase the humidity in the terrarium and have a few other benefits for your chameleon.
*Before putting in plants, ensure that it is safe and suitable for your chameleon.

Another attractive decor option for your chameleon cage is bamboo. Bamboo can act like branches to climb on or just be decor for the cage. Real bamboo is safe for chameleons just as long as they can get most (or all) of their foot around it.
